Starbucks Iwataya- Twenjin, Fukuoka, Japan
Drank: Cappuccino Tall size
Ate: Warm Cinnamon Roll (mmmmm. Cinnamon)
Iwataya Starbucks is located right in the middle of Fukuoka’s shopping district, Tenjin. Due to this fact it is extremely busy during the day, early morning (around 8am-10am) is the best time to grab a coffee as it is really peaceful and calm around this time.
While Starbucks is definitely not my favorite cappuccino I still don’t mind having it on a Sunday with friends, though I do have one complaint. The coffee is TOO HOT!! Starbucks consumer research, if you are reading take note Coffee is not meant to be so hot that I burn my tongue when I drink it. Also please pass along my compliments to the girl who frothed my milk, she did a very good job. It was thick, creamy and fluffy, just the way froth should be. Starbucks Cinnamon rolls taste fantastic when they are warmed up, I devoured that baby faster than you can say Cinnamon.
Cleanliness: 9/10
Service: 7/10 This visits overall rating: 7/10
Food/Drinks: 7/10

Hey Jesse. Earlier this year I visited Akabane Starbucks (Star-u-bukoo) as everyone called it, and was fascinated by the way things were done.
Prior to visiting Japan we had spent 3 months in New York - and has seen more than our fair share of Starbucks.
So, anyway, I ride my mama charrie bike down the street, and lo-and-behold Starbucks - outside is a white gloved employee, helping everyone to line up, single file, as they waited for the store to open, she was even taking their orders as they lined up.
I love Japan.
